Behavioral therapy has proven to be an effective approach in addressing these concerns.

One of the techniques I frequently use is behavioral activation. This involves helping clients engage in activities that bring them a sense of accomplishment or enjoyment. By encouraging clients to participate in activities that align with their values and interests, we can help them build a more positive self-image and enhance their self-esteem. Additionally, engaging in activities that elicit positive emotions can help counteract negative self-beliefs and reinforce a more positive self-perception.

Another approach I often employ is cognitive restructuring. This technique focuses on challenging and replacing negative thoughts and beliefs with more realistic and positive ones.
