Environmental factors play a crucial role in shaping human behavior and mental health outcomes. The complex interplay between individuals and their environment has been the focus of my research for a significant part of my career.

One study I conducted aimed to investigate the influence of urban green spaces on psychological well-being. We hypothesized that exposure to natural environments within urban settings would have positive effects on individuals’ mental health. To examine this, we recruited participants from various urban neighborhoods and assessed their well-being using validated psychological measures. We then compared the well-being scores of individuals who had access to green spaces with those who did not.
