As a Child Life Specialist, I have extensive experience supporting children who have gone through traumatic events or medical procedures. I have worked with children of all ages, from infants to adolescents, and have provided them with a variety of services to help them cope with their experiences.
One of the most important things I do is provide children with a safe and supportive environment where they can feel comfortable talking about their experiences. I create a trusting relationship with each child and let them know that I am there to listen to them and help them through whatever they are going through.
